CONDITIONS OF BOOKING All accommodation is offered subject to availability at time of receipt of deposit, and at the tariffs applicable according to season. When booking your holiday you are entering into a legally binding contract and it is recommended that you take out holiday insurance cover. The proprietors cannot accept responsibility for loss of guests' property unless handed in for safe custody. The management reserve the right to charge guests paying by credit or debit card a surcharge of £1.00 per guest to cover fees charged to us. Credit cards are not normally accepted for 1 night stays unless agreed in advance by the management this is because of high fees charged. Accounts must be paid Upon Arrival and cheques will only be accepted if prior arrangements have been made with the proprietor to allow for bank clearance. As from the 1st July 07 guests are only permitted to smoke in a designated smoking bedroom which must be requested on booking. All other indoor areas in the hotel are strictly no smoking and any one who ignores this rule shall be requested to leave the hotel and the booking will be cancelled and no refunds will be given. In the event of any cancellation or curtailment, should the accommodation not be re-let, the persons whose signature appears on the Booking Form will be liable to pay for the total cost as per the reservation, less an allowance for food and service. Deposits are not refundable but will be deductible from any claim for compensation arising out of any cancellation or curtailment of the contract. If the deposit has been paid using a credit card authorised account number, then any payment due, owing to cancellation or damage, will also be made on this same account by the proprietor. The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is a part to that contract cause any detriment to the well being or comfort of other guests. The person whose signature appears on the Booking Form is ultimately responsible for any damage to the Hotel, however caused.Vehicles parked in the car park are parked at the owner's risk and the Hotel accepts no claims for any damage, however caused.
